French Alps, July 2007 |

The previous year's pannier-less spree was such a success, we decided to do it again. And this time
Matt was along for the ride too. What do you know? Cyclotourist.net - it's a site for 3 people!
From one Bourg to another. After Bourg d'Oisans in 2006, Paul and I headed to another
col-rich valley town: Bourg Saint Maurice. Despite painful memories of climbing La Plagne as an
unfit student in 1994,
Matt had decided to return to the Alps with us. From our hotel, we had easy access to the
Cols du Petit Saint Bernard, Cormet de Roseland,
Les Arcs, and Europe's highest pass: the Col de l'Iseran.
And to boot, the Tour de France was passing through during our stay.
